Subject: “Love” is regularly employed as a concept for pacification and obedience by those that want nothing more than for us to sit down, comply, and be quiet.
Therefore, I think it’s good to remind ourselves that more often than not love is one of the strongest driving forces behind human action.

Love compels us to protect that which we cherish the most.
Love compels us to fight, often at great personal risk.
Love inspires sacrifice.
Love inspires courage.
But I think most importantly, love inspires unity. Unity to resist oppressive forces in defence of our collective freedoms and in defence of our collective humanity.

When they desire nothing more than for us to hate those that don’t look like us, love becomes an act of rebellion.
